The showpiece of the heritage site is the casting hall and blast furnace building, completed in 1830. The historic foundry hall is regarded as the first industrial building with a load-bearing cast-iron structure. There is also the ‘Krupp Hall’, a machine factory belonging to the Sayner Hütte, built in 1908. It is named after its builder, Alfred Krupp. The Art Casting Gallery opened in May 2023. There is no more impressive way to showcase fine craftsmanship.
