Design Concept
With the rise of smartphones, the use of paper as a storage medium has almost completely disappeared. Nevertheless, this traditional medium could not be completely replaced by apps and technology – you still see people handling slips of paper!
We suspect that the motor skills involved in using a pen and paper have long been part of our DNA. Plans can be made on paper across generations and cultures.
Our Inventor and Founder Thomas Sommer states that conventional notebooks no longer fit into our digitized world: they are too bulky, have too many loose parts, and too many pages. With Rollgut, he has created a "container" for pens and paper that is small, uncomplicated, and, like a smartphone, always with you and ready to hand.

Care and Repair

- The rubber band of the clasp wears out after a few years due to its nature
